European Bandas and Peñas Festival

Condom, capital of Ténarèze, located in the northern Gers, organizes during the Festival de Bandas y Peñas, the largest gathering of brass and percussion instruments in southwest France.

The entertainment takes the form of “passe-rue” and podiums. The Festival presents the public with artists, live street performances and contemporary music concerts.

As well as the crowd-pleasing Grand Paquito, you can attend the Bandas competition. Each year the jury is responsible for awarding prizes to the best bands for their performance in musical and festive entertainment.

Féria del Toro "Pentecôtavic

Vic-Fezensac, the bullfighting capital of the Gers in Gascony, is one of the great bullfighting towns of southwest France.

The Féria del Toro, dedicated to the bullfighting tradition, welcomes “aficionados” from all over Europe to invade the 7,000-seat Joseph Fourniol bullring.

In Vic-Fezensac, in the heart of the Gers in Gascony, Tempo Latino is Europe’s biggest festival of Latin and Afro-Cuban music, salsa, Latin jazz and hip-hop.
