Lassis Jardin Arboretum

Adjacent to a 19th-century house and laid out over 1.5 ha, a private arboretum, gently sloping with paths.

Collection of maples, birches and conifers. Shaded reading area with giant bamboos, statue of an Indian goddess.

Cabinet of curiosities on the world of plants. Drinks on site.

Visits by reservation mainly from Friday to Sunday. Participation in Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2023.


La Palmeraie du Sarthou

Come and recharge your batteries in this green setting for a complete change of scenery. An original experience to enjoy in the Gers in this oasis classified as a Remarkable Garden. A stroll through the garden invites you on an initiatory journey where art and nature mingle, change of scenery and adventure.

Set off for escapism as you discover collections of exotic plants, exhibitions of sculptures by contemporary artists, an exhibition of African art, an authentic old Gascon farm and its animals.

The rest of the walk through the park offers relaxation and serenity. You can meditate by the lotus and water lily ponds, hike around the conservatory orchard of ancient varieties and the natural meadow, let yourself be lulled to sleep in the hammocks, exercise your musical talents in our music room, rest and read in our garden libraries, admire a giant plant painting in a mosaic of colors…


Les Jardins de Coursiana

In Gascony, on one of the Gers paths to St Jacques de Compostelle, lie the 6 ha Jardins de Coursiana (Jardin Remarquable), facing the Collégiale de la Romieu, which is displayed here as a life-size panorama.

The arboretum was created in 1974 by Gilbert Cours-Darne, an eminent botanist who in 1995 was awarded the Olivier de Serres prize (the highest distinction of the Académie d’Agriculture).

In 1995, Véronique and Arnaud Delannoy became owners and renovated the complex (buildings, plum trees, creation of gardens…). The gardens of Coursiana were born, and at the gateway to the picturesque village of La Romieu, they form an ensemble of beautiful vegetation…
