On receipt of the booking, Barbotan thermal baths will send a deposit receipt confirming the day and time slot allocated for the spa treatment. In order to obtain satisfaction for the times and day of arrival, it is advisable for customers to book the spa treatment first and then make their accommodation reservation and medical appointment. Treatments are administered every working day and on public holidays, except Sundays.
As soon as they arrive, curists must register at the administrative reception center. At Barbotan-les-Thermes, specialized doctors monitor the progress of your spa treatment to ensure you reap all the benefits.
PRESCRIPTION OF YOUR CURE
Your attending physician prescribes the cure by filling out a request for coverage form, specifying the resort and the orientation(s) chosen. You must send this form to your Caisse d’Assurance Maladie. As soon as you receive the form, please check the name of the beneficiary, the spa, the therapeutic orientation(s), the date of validity (the form is valid until 12/31 of the current year), and the stamp and signature of the Caisse on each section. In the event of an error, please contact the Caisse.
WHEN IS IT BEST TO GO ON A CURE?
As September and October are particularly busy, choose spring, July and August instead. A word of advice: book as early as possible, so you’ll have plenty of time to determine the dates of your stay and indicate your schedule wishes.
